Your ticket is made of three parts: an entry fee per person, a service fee per jeep, and 18% VAT on both. A small vehicle fee is paid in rupees.

How the service fee works
The service fee is charged per jeep, not per person. Whether one or six people share the jeep, it stays the same — so groups pay less per head.
Vehicle fee structure
Vehicle tracking fees are mandatory for every vehicle entering Minneriya National Park, and are charged once per vehicle.
Most safari operators use jeeps or double-cab vehicles (Rs. 300 fee). This cost is typically included in your safari package price.

Paying at the gate
Bring cash — card payment is not reliable at park gates. You can also buy an official e-permit online in advance, or ask us to handle the tickets with your safari.
